Are there many paths to God?

I frequently hear people say things like, “There are many paths to God.” Or “There are many ways to get to heaven, and as long as you are sincere, it doesn’t really matter what you believe.”

Now, I don’t doubt the sincerity of those who say such things, but is sincerity the all-important consideration when it comes to spiritual choices? I would argue that it is not. Consider the choices you make in other areas of your life, for example…
