Upward Calling is an online resource hub from the ministry of Bryan Guinness.

Upward Calling exists to motivate, inspire, challenge, and encourage others toward the upward calling of God on their life.  The apostle Paul said, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14 ESV). Through the ministry of Upward Calling, Bryan provides devotionals, sermons, Q&A’s, and other biblical resources to help believers press onward and upward.

Bryan is an ordained minister through the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada. He holds two Masters degrees (M.A. & M.Div) from Acadia University’s Faculté de Théologie Évangélique, and he has a passion to preach God’s Word, showing how Biblical principles intersect with human needs. He currently pastors at Onward Gospel Church in Montreal.

He has been married to Erin for 23 years. Together they are blessed with three children. In his spare time he can be found biking, shooting hoops, playing guitar, or going for walks.
